Zoho Mail mailboxes — free or on a Zoho Workplace custom domain — connect to OrbitVibe over SMTP/IMAP. You need IMAP switched on and, with two-factor auth, an application-specific password.
Step 1 — Prepare the mailbox in Zoho
In Zoho Mail: Settings → Mail Accounts → select the account → IMAP → enable IMAP Access.
If two-factor authentication is on (it should be), create an application-specific password: Zoho Accounts (accounts.zoho.com) → Security → App Passwords → generate one for "OrbitVibe".
Step 2 — Connect in OrbitVibe
Settings → Email Accounts → Connect account → Connect SMTP / IMAP.
Enter your address and pick Zoho Mail as the provider:
SMTP — smtp.zoho.com · 587 · STARTTLS
IMAP — imap.zoho.com · 993 · SSL/TLS
EU or India data center? Open Server settings in the dialog and change both hosts to
.euor.in(e.g.smtp.zoho.eu). Your data center is visible in the Zoho Mail URL you normally sign in to.
Password: the application-specific password (or the account password when 2FA is off).
Verify & connect.
Troubleshooting
"Authentication failed" with the right password → 2FA is on and you used the account password; switch to an app password.
IMAP login rejected → IMAP Access (step 1) is still disabled, or you're on the wrong regional host (
.comvs.eu/.in).Custom domains: keep SPF and DKIM configured in the Zoho Mail admin console — OrbitVibe's domain badge on the account card verifies them.
More providers and general troubleshooting: see the SMTP/IMAP setup guide.
