Connect a Hostinger mailbox to OrbitVibe (SMTP/IMAP)

Hostinger business email connects in about a minute — including older mailboxes that run on Titan. Settings for both, deliverability checklist and troubleshooting.

Hostinger-hosted business email (yourname@yourdomain.com) connects to OrbitVibe in about a minute — no migration, no DNS changes, and no app passwords: Hostinger uses the mailbox's normal password for SMTP and IMAP.

First: Hostinger Email or Titan?

Hostinger has shipped two different email products over the years, and they use different servers:

  • Hostinger Email — the current product, managed entirely inside hPanel. Uses smtp.hostinger.com / imap.hostinger.com.

  • Titan Email — bundled with many older Hostinger plans (and sold by several other hosts). Uses smtp.titan.email / imap.titan.email.

How to tell which one you have:

  • Open your webmail. If the address bar or logo says Titan (app.titan.email), you're on Titan.

  • Or check your domain's MX records: mx1.titan.email means Titan; mx1.hostinger.com means Hostinger Email.

  • Or in hPanel → Emails: a Titan mailbox opens the Titan dashboard instead of hPanel's own mailbox settings.

In OrbitVibe simply pick the matching provider preset — Hostinger or Titan Email — and the right servers fill themselves. Everything else below works the same for both.

What you need

  • A mailbox created in hPanel (Emails → your domain)

  • Its password (reset it in hPanel if you don't have it — resetting also logs out other mail apps using the old one)

Connect in OrbitVibe

  1. Settings → Email Accounts → Connect account → Connect SMTP / IMAP.

  2. Enter the address, pick Hostinger (or Titan Email — see above) as the provider — servers fill themselves:

    SMTP — smtp.hostinger.com · 587 · STARTTLS · smtp.titan.email · 587 · STARTTLS

    IMAP — imap.hostinger.com · 993 · SSL/TLS · imap.titan.email · 993 · SSL/TLS

  1. Password: the mailbox password.

  2. Verify & connect. OrbitVibe signs in to both servers, sends a test email from the mailbox to itself and waits for it to appear in the inbox — usually a few seconds on Hostinger.

Deliverability checklist (important for cold outreach)

Hostinger manages your mailbox, but inbox placement depends on your domain's DNS. After connecting, check the domain badge on the account card in OrbitVibe:

  • SPF — hPanel adds include:_spf.mail.hostinger.com automatically when your domain uses Hostinger's DNS; verify it exists.

  • DKIM — enable it under hPanel → Emails if it isn't already.

  • DMARC — add at least v=DMARC1; p=none to start collecting reports.

OrbitVibe checks all three for you and shows exactly what's missing.

Troubleshooting

  • Login failed with the right password → you're probably on the other product: try the Titan Email preset if you picked Hostinger (or vice versa). See "Hostinger Email or Titan?" above.

  • Login failed → wrong mailbox password (webmail login works? then re-copy carefully), or the mailbox is suspended in hPanel.

  • Verification email did not arrive → make sure you connected the mailbox that actually receives mail for the address (not an alias forwarding elsewhere).
