2. Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly, including:

• Account data — name, email address, company name when you sign up or request a demo.
• Usage data — pages visited, features used, search queries, and session duration collected automatically via cookies and analytics.
• Payment data — handled entirely by Stripe. We never store raw card details.
• Communications — emails, support tickets, and form submissions you send us.

We also aggregate publicly available creator data from public social media profiles. We do not collect private messages or non-public profile information.

3. How We Use Your Information

• To provide, maintain, and improve our services.
• To send transactional emails (reports, shortlists, account updates).
• To send product and marketing communications — you may opt out at any time.
• To analyse usage patterns and improve the product experience.
• To comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service.

• Contract — to deliver the service you signed up for.

5. Sharing Your Information

We do not sell your personal data. We share information only with:

• Service providers — hosting, analytics, email delivery, and payment processors under data processing agreements.
• Legal authorities — when required by law, court order, or to protect our rights.
• Business transfers — in connection with a merger or sale of assets, with appropriate confidentiality protections.

6. YouTube API Services

Orbitvibe uses YouTube API Services to retrieve publicly available YouTube data. In addition to this Privacy Policy, Google's Privacy Policy applies to this data and can be found at http://www.google.com/policies/privacy.

What YouTube data we collect and store. Through YouTube API Services we access and store publicly available channel-level information: channel name and handle, channel ID, channel description, avatar image, subscriber count, video count, view counts, country, topic/category information, and public video metadata (titles, thumbnails, view/like/comment counts, and publish dates). We do not access any private YouTube account data: Orbitvibe does not ask users to sign in with their YouTube or Google account and does not request authorisation to any user's YouTube account. No Authorized Data (as defined by the YouTube API Services Terms) is collected, stored, or processed.

How we use and share this data. Stored YouTube data powers creator discovery and analytics features inside Orbitvibe for our customers. It is processed by our own systems and by the infrastructure service providers that host our platform (cloud hosting, database, and content-delivery providers), acting on our behalf under data processing agreements. We do not sell YouTube API Data and do not share it with third parties for their own independent use.

Data refresh and deletion. Stored YouTube API Data is refreshed or deleted at least every 30 days. Channels that become unavailable on YouTube (deleted, terminated, or otherwise inaccessible) are removed from customer-facing surfaces. Creators or users may request deletion of stored data concerning them at any time by contacting hello [at] orbitvibe.com; we honour such requests within 7 days.

Revoking access. Orbitvibe does not hold authorised access to any user's YouTube account. If you have ever granted any application access to your Google account, you can review and revoke that access at any time via the Google security settings page at https://myaccount.google.com/connections.

7. Cookies

We use strictly necessary cookies to operate the service and optional analytics/marketing cookies to understand usage. This includes cookies and similar technologies placed on your device or browser by the Orbitvibe application itself (authentication/session and security cookies) and, with your consent, analytics cookies. You can manage preferences through our cookie banner or your browser settings.

8. Data Retention

We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. Upon account deletion, we erase or anonymise your data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

9. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or port your data, and to withdraw consent for marketing. Email hello [at] orbitvibe.com — we respond within 30 days.

10. Security

We implement TLS encryption in transit, encrypted storage at rest, access controls, and regular security reviews. Contact us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access.

11. International Transfers

Our servers are in the EU and the US. Where we transfer data outside the EEA, we use Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent safeguards.

12. Children

Our services are not directed at children under 16. If you believe a minor has provided us data, contact us immediately and we will delete it.

13. Changes to This Policy

Material changes will be communicated via email or prominent notice at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use constitutes acceptance.
